111 – Cherry Blossom
“The perfect blossom is a rare thing. You could spend your life looking for one, and it would not be a wasted life.” ~ from the movie The Last Samurai
While the Japanese called this flower the sakura, you likely know it as the cherry blossom instead. The sakura tree became a backbone of Japanese culture and is now used in the West to represent Japan. In a spiritual sense, the sakura reminds viewers that life is short and beautiful, just like the cherry blossom that falls from the tree after just a few days. With a sky blue-colored background, the cherry blossom stands out and catches anyone’s attention. True beauty.
